Prayer in the scriptures has made the impossible seem ordinary and sometimes these stories are seen as just stories. My kids always bring me back to reality to remind me that these are real events. We taught them to pray but never thought they would end up teaching us how to really pray.
Each time there is a problem you should see these kids spring into action. Praying powerfully and continually until the thing is done. Their faith is almost never shaken. They always continue with even more energy and power.
Today like most days our water was off and for the entire day. When we returned home late this evening my wife said, "the water is still off?" Quickly our son sprang into action "Dear Jesus help the water to come on right away!" Would you believe as soon as he opened his eyes it did!
“Ask, and you will receive; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks will receive, and anyone who seeks will find, and the door will be opened to those who knock. Would any of you who are fathers give your son a stone when he asks for bread? Or would you give him a snake when he asks for a fish? As bad as you are, you know how to give good things to your children. How much more, then, will your Father in heaven give good things to those who ask him! Matthew 7:7-11
